2nd Maintenance Battalion welcomes new leadership

Lt. Col. David P. Grant, the outgoing commanding officer of 2nd Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 25, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, relinquished command to Lt. Col. Kevin R. Scott, the incoming commanding officer of the battalion, during a change of command ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, June 2.  Grant was the commanding officer of 2nd Maint. Bn. from June 2008 to June 2010, which included a deployment with the battalion in 2009 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Scott was selected for the position after holding the billet of the 2nd MLG G-4/assistant chief of staff.
