Command Master Chief, 2nd Dental Battalion
HMCM Kinkela H. Kuedituka

Master Chief Kuedituka enlisted in the United States Navy on 25 August 1992, and reported to basic training at Recruit Training Command San Diego, California.  Upon graduation, reported to Seaman Apprentice school with follow on orders to Naval Air Station Adak, Alaska as undesignated Seaman.


After a nine months period of On-The-Job Training as Dental Technician, in July of 2004, he reported to Dental “A” school at NSDAT San Diego, CA.  He graduated as Honor student and was meritoriously advanced to Petty Officer Third Class.  He received orders to Branch Dental Clinic NAS Oceana, VA.  In September of 1997, he reported to Field Medical Service School, Camp Johnson, NC.  Upon graduation, he reported to Naval School of Health and Science, Portsmouth, VA for Surgical Technologist “C” School.  Graduated with honor and received the Surgical Excellence award.


Master Chief Kuedituka transferred to USS ARLINGTON (LPD 24) in January 2015 from Field Medical Training Battalion where he served as the Command Senior Chief.  He was promoted to the rank of Master Chief on 1 May 2015.  In October of 2015, he transferred to Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune where he served as Directorate Leading Chief Petty Officer for Nursing Services Directorate.  He is currently serving as the 2D Dental Battalion Command Master Chief since 25 July 2018.


Master Chief Kuedituka is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy at Fort Bliss, Texas, Class 62, and Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat course, Newport, Rhode Island.


His qualifications include Surface Warfare Specialist, Air Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist, and Master Training Specialist.  His personal awards include one Meritorious Service Medal, five Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, five Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and one Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
