With more than 100 contracts to his name, Staff Sgt. Keith A. Sandor has established himself as one of the premier recruiters in the Midwest, earning the coveted title of ?Centurion? at Marine Corps Recruiting Station Chicago, Ill. The 29-year-old Eatonville, Wash., native attributes strong recruiter ethics, community involvement and mentorship to his success on the streets and in the high schools. The ?Centurion? title derives from after Roman warriors who commanded 100 men. The former field radio operator with 3rd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment out of Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., is preparing to move to Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C, where he will deploy to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom sometime next year with the 2nd Marine Logistics Group.
