Boggs unfurl the battalion?s organizational colors in a transfer of authority ceremony here July 13. 1st Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment took control over the area of operations from 2nd Combined Arms Battalion, 136th Infantry Regiment. Edwards is the sergeant major 1st Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment and Boggs is the commanding officer.
