CAMP TAQADDUM, Iraq - Private First Class John Super, an ammunition technician, from Kansas City, Kansas, mans an observation post along the edge of the base here. Super, 28, volunteered to deploy to Iraq with his reserve unit, general support ammunition platoon, Ammunition Company, 4th Supply Battalion, 4th Force Service Support Group from Topeka, Kansas, but never thought he would find himself standing watch over the barren landscape of Iraq.
