Lance Cpl. Roddra Malone, a motor transportation operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), is hugged in congratulations after receiving the Purple Heart medal aboard Camp Lejeune, Oct. 18, 2010. Malone was injured when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device while on patrol during his deployment to Afghanistan earlier this year.
