Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina - Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, the 18th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, talks with Marines of II Marine Expeditionary Force during his visit to Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 6, 2015. “Thank you for what you do every day,” said Dempsey. “I know with certainty that you all are eager on deployment and ready to deploy.” Dempsey had the opportunity to meet with the leadership of II Marine Expeditionary Force, enjoyed a luncheon with the unit’s Marines and their spouses and took part in a town hall where he answered questions from several Marines.
