During a non-commissioned officer leadership seminar, he noted the importance of knowing their troops and that regardless of their differences it is the NCOs' job to bring everyone together. Ten pallets of wheat and vegetable seed and fertilizer are stacked on a flight line in Lashkar Gah, Afghanistan, before they are transferred to Kajaki, Sept. 30, 2011, where they will be distributed to local farmers.
