Chief of Staff, 2nd Marine Logistics Group
Col. Jeffrey M. Reagan
    Col. Reagan graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After completing The Basic School and the Basic Engineer Officer Course, Reagan’s first tour was with the 2d Force Service Support Group, where he served as Bridge Platoon Commander in 8th Engineer Support Battalion and Engineer Detachment Commander, Marine Expeditionary Unit Service Support Group 24, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit. During this tour he participated in Operation Provide Comfort in Northern Iraq. 

    In 1992, Reagan reported to Marine Corps Base Quantico for duty as the Public Works Planning and Programming Officer. In 1995, Reagan attended the Army Advanced Engineer Officer Course followed by a subsequent tour at 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division. While at 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, he served as the Commanding Officer of “A” Company, Battalion Assistant Operations Officer, and Battalion Logistics Officer. During this tour he also attached to U.S. Central Command as part of a theater force protection evaluation team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 

    In 1998, Reagan was assigned to Marine Corps Engineer School in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, where he served as the Commanding Officer of Combat Engineer Instruction Company and Director of Instruction. In 2001, Colonel Reagan assumed duty as the Executive Officer for 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Force Service Support Group. During this tour, he participated in Operation IRAQI FREEDOM in Iraq. Upon returning from Iraq in 2003, he assumed duty as the Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics, 1st Force Service Support Group.
In August 2004, Reagan reported to the Chief of Naval Operations staff for duty as the Shallow Water Mine Countermeasures Requirements Officer and the Deputy for the Mine Warfare Branch, Expeditionary Warfare Division. 

    In July 2007, Reagan reported for duty as the III Marine Expeditionary Force Engineer Officer. In May 2008, Colonel Reagan assumed command of 9th Engineer Support Battalion and deployed his battalion to support Operation Iraqi Freedom 08-2. After relinquishing command in October 2009, Colonel Reagan assumed duties as the Command Inspector General for Marine Corps Bases Japan.

    In August 2010, Reagan reported to 2d Marine Logistics Group for duty as the Assistant Chief of Staff G-4. From September 2010 to April 2012, Colonel Reagan served as the Assistant Chief of Staff G-4 for II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 11.1 and 11.2 in Afghanistan. Colonel Reagan returned to 2d Marine Logistics Group in May 2012 and assumed his current duties as Chief of Staff, 2d Marine Logistics Group.

    Col. Reagan’s personal decorations include the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal (with three Gold Stars), the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with one Gold Star), and the Army Commendation Medal.
