Mission

CLB 2 provides direct tactical logistics support to 2d Marines beyond their organic capabilities, and provides throughput and distribution support to the Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF).  BPT serve as the Logistics Combat Element (LCE) headquarters for a Marine Air-Ground Task Force.

Following his graduation from the United States Naval Academy in 2007, Dan Walker was commissioned a 2ndLt in the United States Marine Corps. While at The Basic School, he was selected to be a logistics officer, and then sent to Camp Johnson, NC where he completed the Logistics Officer’s Course.In May 2008, he joined 2d Combat Engineer Battalion

Sergeant Major James W. Myrick
Command Senior Enlisted Leader, Combat Logistics Battalion 2

Sergeant Major Myrick reported to MCRD Parris Island in June of 2000. Upon graduation as a PFC, he attended Marine Combat Training at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He then went to Assault Amphibian School (AAS) Battalion aboard Camp Pendleton, California where he attended the Assault Amphibian Vehicle (AAV) Crewman Course to attain the MOS 1833.
