Mission

CLB 2 provides direct tactical logistics support to 2d Marines beyond their organic capabilities, and provides throughput and distribution support to the Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF).  BPT serve as the Logistics Combat Element (LCE) headquarters for a Marine Air-Ground Task Force.

Commanding Officer, Combat Logistics Battalion 2

Lieutenant Colonel Jessica M. Kaster is a native of Tennessee and Colorado. Upon graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder in May 2008 with a B.A. in both Political Science and International Affairs, Second Lieutenant Kaster was commissioned through the Officer Candidate Course program; she then executed follow on orders to The Basic School in October 2008 and Logistics Officer Course in August 2009.

Sergeant Major Nicholas J. Jordan
Senior Enlisted Advisor, Combat Logistics Battalion 2

Sergeant Major Jordan is a native of Ohio, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in February 2005 where he attended recruit training at Parris Island, South Carolina. Private First Class Jordan attended Marine Combat Training in June 2005 and then completed Automotive Organizational Maintenance Course (MOS 3521) aboard Camp Johnson, North Carolina.
