Assistance and Investigations
Purpose of Assistance and Investigations:
1. Inquire and investigate, as appropriate,
a) Allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, or mismanagement as defined by current Marine Corps Order.
b) Allegations of non-criminal, non-frivolous violations of law, rule, regulation to which there are no other recourse or process is available.
2. Analysis and appropriately process allegations of military whistleblower reprisals.
3. Appropriately process Senior Official Complaints.
Common complaint submissions with other forms or redress:
1. Prohibited Activities and Conduct Violations
· Appropriate venue of redress is the command Equal Opportunity Representative
2. Complaints of Sexual Harassment
· Appropriate venue of redress is the command Equal Opportunity Representative
3. Domestic Disputes or Child Custody Disputes
· Appropriate venue of redress is local law enforcement
