Captain Goad is from Mount Airy, North Carolina and was commissioned as an Ensign after graduating from North Carolina A&T State University with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering.

Commander James M. Nogle
Executive Officer, 2nd Medical Battalion

Commander James M. Nogle was born and raised in Danville, Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1989 as an Operation’s Specialist and was stationed on the USS Josephus Daniels (CG-27).  He earned a Business Administration Degree from Virginia Wesleyan College in 1998, a Master’s Degree from Bowie State University in Public Administration, and a Master of Healthcare Administration Degree from the University of North Florida in 2004 through the Health Service Collegiate Program. He was commissioned in 2004.

Command Master Chief, 2nd Medical Battalion

Master Chief Bankus enlisted in the United States Navy in December 1997 and completed Recruit Training, Great Lakes, Illinois.
