Combat Logistics Battalion 8 will provide tactical logistics in order to sustain Regimental operations across the competition continuum.

Commanding Officer, Combat Logistics Battalion 8

Lieutenant Colonel Joshua M. Lewis is a native of Alexandria, Minnesota. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2001 as a Logistics Vehicle Systems Operator (3533). Lance Corporal Lewis deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from March – August 2003 and Operation Enduring Freedom from March – October 2004, while completing his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Upon graduation, Sergeant Lewis was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in September 2008.

Sergeant Major Bland is a native of Medina, OH. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on 18 December 2002, and attended recruit training at 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Alpha Company, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina.
