Commanding Officer, Combat Logistics Battalion 24

Travis Chamberlin attended Shawnee State University in his hometown of Portsmouth, Ohio, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He attended Officer Candidate School and commissioned in March 2009, and subsequently attended The Basic School and Logistics Officer School.

Sergeant Major Daniel R. Kermeen
Senior Enlisted Advisor, Combat Logistics Battalion 24

Sergeant Major Kermeen was born in Madison, Indiana. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in December 2006. Following his recruit training at Parris Island, South Carolina, he attended the School of Infantry-East for Marine Combat Training on Camp Geiger, North Carolina. Upon completion, Private First Class Kermeen embarked on the Motor Transport Operators Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, earning the Military Occupational Specialty of Logistic Vehicle System Operator.

Redesignated during the 1970s as Marine Amphibious Unit Service Support Group 32, 32d Marine Amphibious Unit, Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic

Participated in numerous exercises and operations during the 1970s and 1980s in the Mediterranean Area

Redesignated 1 December 1982 as Marine Amphibious Unit Service Support Group 22, 22d Marine Amphibious Unit, Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic

Participated as part of the multinational peace-keeping force in Lebanon, August – September 1982, February – May 1983, and November 1983 – February 1984

Participated in the landings on Grenada-Carriacou, October-November 1983
