Mission

Provide intermediate level ground supply support and filed-level maintenance support for Marine Corps furnished tactical ordnance, engineer, motor transport, ground electronics, and health service equipment of the MEF, and tailored support to specified MEF organizations.

Colonel Aaron C. Norwood
Commanding Officer, 2nd Combat Readiness Regiment

Colonel Norwood reported for enlisted boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina, in October of 1990. Gunnery Sergeant Norwood was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in March of 2004. After completing The Basic School and Logistics Officers Course, he was assigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron 374 and deployed to Anbar Province, Iraq and was promoted to First Lieutenant during that deployment.

Sergeant Major, 2nd Combat Readiness Regiment

Sergeant Major Paris E. Mintz is a native of Baltimore, MD. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in August 1997 and attended recruit training at Parris Island, SC. Upon completion of follow-on Marine Combat Training at Camp Geiger, NC in January 1998, he was ordered to Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, NC for the Aircraft Maintenance Material Readiness List (AMMRL) Manager course.
