Mission

​Provides Combat Service Support to 2d Marine Division and provides throughput and distribution support to II Marine Expeditionary Force in order to logistically enable the division to generate forces in garrison, conduct operations across the spectrum of conflict, maintain operational tempo while delaying culmination. Be prepare to serve as the Logistics Command Element to a Marine Air-Ground Task Force.

Colonel Mills was born on Andrews Air force Base and is a native of Columbia, South Carolina.  He graduated from James Madison University in 1996 with a B.S. in Mass Communications. As a company grade officer, his operational assignments were Maintenance Management Officer, 8th Marines; Maintenance Management Officer and Assistant Logistics

Sergeant Major Joseph Mendez
Sergeant Major, Combat Logistics Regiment 2

Sergeant Major Mendez is a native of Brooklyn,  New York. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in January 1997 and completed recruit training at MCRD  Parris Island, South Carolina in April 1997.  Following recruit training, Private First Class Mendez attended the School of Infantry at Camp Geiger, North Carolina.  Upon completion he was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal  and assigned the MOS 0311 Infantryman.  Lance Corporal Mendez then reported to Golf Company, 2nd Bn 8th Marines in July 1997 as a Rifleman.  He was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Corporal in December 1999.
