There’s a new sergeant major in town

Sgt. Maj. Efren Whitehead, the outgoing sergeant major of 8th Engineer Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 25, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, salutes Lt. Col. William Truax, the commanding officer of 8th ESB, during a post and relief ceremony where he was relieved by Sgt. Maj. Veney Cochran aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 26, 2010.  Whitehead was the 8th ESB sergeant major since January 2006.
