Marissa Underwood is originally from Salem, New Jersey. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey and obtained her Certified Athletic Trainer credentials in 2017. She later completed a Master of Management degree with a concentration in Sports Management from Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware, in August of 2020. Marissa has over eight years of professional experience and has held both supervisory and head athletic trainer positions within secondary school and orthopedic clinical settings. She is certified through the National Board for Certification in the Orthopedic Specialties and holds an Orthopedic Physician Extender Certification.
