AL TAQADDUM, Iraq (July 13, 2007) ? Sgt. Maj. Terry S. Koenig and Lt. Col. Gregg L. Parks case their battalion?s organizational colors in a transfer of authority ceremony here July 13. The 2nd Combined Arms Battalion, 136th Infantry Regiment handed the reins of his unit?s area of operations over to 1st Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment after 16 months of continuous combat operations. Koenig is the sergeant major of 2-136 and Parks is the battalion commander. The 2-136 is a Twin Lakes, Minn., based unit.
