AL ASAD, Iraq (June 23, 2005) - One of the Marines decides to test out his grey belt skills on his instructor Staff Sgt. Paul Denning, a black belt instructor in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, after graduating the martial arts course. Denning, a Whitehouse Station, N.J., native and company gunnery sergeant for Transportation Support Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 2, 2d Force Service Support Group (Forward) - otherwise known as "Team Carnivore"- wants to train as many of the more than 200 Marines in his company up at least one martial arts belt higher than they are now.
