AL ASAD, Iraq (June 26, 2005) - The Marines with Air Delivery Platoon, Transportation Support Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 2, 2d Force Service Support Group (Forward), repack the parachutes used for an early morning supply drop before convoying to the drop site to collect the supplies. Air delivery is used to reduce the number of Marines and vehicles conducting convoy operations needed to deliver supplies to the various Forward Operating Bases throughout the CLB-2 area of operations.
