AL TAQADDUM, Iraq (Sept. 22, 2007) ? Petty Officer 2nd Class James R. Malyuk and Petty Officer 3rd Class Simon H. Vuocolo stack syringes and IVs inside of an individual storage operations container at the Medical Logistics Detachment compound, Sept. 22. The Marines and sailors at MedLog Detachment, Supply Company, 2nd Supply Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward), provide roughly 2,000 catalogued items of medical equipment for 55 units operating within Al Anbar Province. Malyuk is the outside crew leading petty officer and a Cleveland native with the detachment. Vuocolo is an outside crew clerk from Virginia Beach, Va., with the detachment.
