Avery Jones, a civilian employee from Sumrall, Miss., is one of several civilian employees attached to 2nd Maintenance Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group. Non military personnel stay on to add continuity to the unit, said Capt. Keith Burgess, the maintenance operations officer, 2nd Maintenance Battalion.
