Cpl. Eliut Hidalgo-Ramon, originally from Guerrero, Mexico, and now a Wendell, Idaho, resident, serves as a heavy equipment operator with Engineer Platoon, Combat Logistics Battalion 22, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group.  Hidalgo-Ramon received his citizenship during a naturalization ceremony July 4, 2010, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., 17 years after immigrating to the United States.
