Cpl. Christopher Huber, a circuit card repair technician with 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward) is presented with a challenge coin by Maj. Gen. John A. Toolan, the commanding general of Regional Command Southwest, at the Intermediate Maintenance Activity lot aboard Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, Sept. 17. Huber and a colleague were able to save the unit more than $105,000 in equipment replacement and repair costs by fixing pieces of gear such as radios and laptop computers down to the component level vice the alternative of completely replacing the item.
