Sgt. Shane Worley and Boatswains Mate Seaman Nathaniel Bracewell relax by playing chess on the mess decks of the amphibious transport dock USS Ponce (LPD 15). Ponce in part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) which is participating in a Composite Unit Training Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the East Coast of the United States, from Virginia to Florida. COMPTUEX is designed to provide realistic training environments for U.S. naval forces that closely replicate the operational challenges routinely encountered during military operations around the world.
