Sgt. Derek Turner, an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician 2nd EOD Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 252, reels in detonation cord after detonating a controlled explosion in Rena, Norway, Feb. 22, 2016, in preparation for Exercise Cold Response 16. The exercise will include 12 NATO allies and partner nations, and approximately 16,000 troops. Marines will train alongside the Norwegian EOD to see how they operate in order to become more proficient at working with each other in the future.
