U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 6, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, set up a decontamination basin during a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear field exercise as part of Exercise Freezing Winds 2025 in Dragsvik, Finland, Nov. 20, 2025.  The CBRN response force executed a CBRN FEX in order to support the commander’s efforts in mitigating the effects of a CBRN incident. Freezing Winds is conducted to increase interoperability between Marines, Finland, and NATO Allies by executing combined amphibious operations in and around the Baltic Sea littorals, and is part of a regularly occurring series of exercises in northern Europe that demonstrates the capability to deploy and train Marines and Sailors in support of the NATO Alliance. MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, Nc. - U.S. Marines with 2nd Distribution Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, attach a metal beam to a CH-53E super stallion assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Training Squadron 302, Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, during helicopter support team operations at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Nov. 4, 2025. 2nd DSB conducted the training to prepare Marines to manage lift operations at landing zones by facilitating the pickup, movement, and landing of helicopter-borne troops, equipment, and supplies.
