AL ASAD, Iraq (June 14, 2005) - Sergeant Merritt A. Dickenson, a Waynesboro, Pa., native, and military policeman, takes a final look at the identification tags hanging on the memorial of Lance Cpl. Marc L. Tucker. Tucker, a Pontotoc, Miss., native, was attached to 4th Squad, MP Detachment, and deployed to Iraq to provide security for the explosive ordnance disposal team, recovery missions, engineer crater repair missions and convoys. Tucker lost his life while supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom 04-06. "He had the biggest heart in the Marine Corps," said Dickenson. "He was always there when you needed him. He never quit."
