Nov 9, 2010
The Modular Amphibious Egress Trainer located at the Water Survivor Training Facility aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., teaches Marines and sailors how to escape from a submerging helicopter. Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, learned what to do in this situation Nov. 9, 2010. As the helo is submerged under water, a group of six Marines or sailors inside make their way out of the helicopter through one of the unlocked hatches located throughout the simulated aircraft.
