A Forward Resuscitative Surgical System sits aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., during tests of the power requirements for its medical equipment Aug. 15, 2012. The FRSS is a mobile medical treatment facility capable of quickly stabilizing casualties close to the fight. Improvements to its existing equipment have increased its demand for energy, and the team was working to determine the exact energy requirements needed to sustain the facility in the field.
