Military and civilian Defense Support of Civil Authorities, or DSCA, planners listen to a presentation on the National Response Framework, part of the National Strategy for Homeland Security, which explains the principles of domestic response during a DSCA operation held aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 18, 2013. Members involved in various aspects of DSCA spoke about the roles each involved organization or unit has to offer in the case of a state or national crisis.
