U.S. Marine Corps 1st Sgt. Joshua Pendley, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, reports in during a relief and appointment ceremony at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan. 31, 2020. Sgt. Maj. Roger Baez was relieved as the 8th Engineer Support Battalion sergeant major and Sgt. Maj. Patrick Fay was appointed. The ceremony symbolizes the passing of trust and confidence from the outgoing sergeant major to the incoming sergeant major.
