Summer is originally from Milwaukee, WI where she earned a Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Dietetics from Mount Mary University.  

Summer is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, as well as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and a Level 1 Anthropometrist through the International Society of Anthropometrics and Kinetics. She has over 6 years of professional experience and has held positions with the University of Wisconsin, EXOS Gulf Breeze, Rutgers University, and the U.S. Army Holistic Health and Fitness Program.
