Brig. Gen. Juan G. Ayala, commanding general, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward), congratulates then Staff Sgt. Jason Eckman after his promotion to gunnery sergeant May 2, 2009 at the Tun Tavern meeting facility aboard Camp Al Taqaddum, Iraq. Eckman attributes his successes throughout his Marine Corps career to the numerous experiences that have given him the tools and drive to achieve his goals along the way.
