CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq -- Lance Cpl. Simon Delgado, a Norwalk, Calif., native, born in Guadalajara, Mexico, stands next to a Tractor Rubber-Tired, Articulated Steering.  The heavy equipment operator with Charlie Company Motor Pool, Combat Logistics Battalion 8, 2d Force Service Support Group (Forward) is attempting to gain citizenship in the United States while deployed to Iraq.  If his paperwork is approved he will be flown to Kuwait to swear in as a naturalized citizen at the U.S. Embassy.
