AL ASAD, Iraq (June 23, 2005) - Gunnery Sgt. William S. Barnes, a Maysville, Miss., native, and Cpl. Brandon H. Cannon, a Cook, Nebr., native, both with the Military Police Detachment, Combat Logistics Battalion 2, 2d Force Service Support Group (Forward), watch as a dead sheep burns on the side of the road. During the Brikwal Patrol the Marines with 5th Squad burned the sheep so it can not be used to hide mines or improvised explosive devices.
