AL ASAD, Iraq (June 23, 2005) - Sergeant Jason A. Cronin, a communication specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 2, 2d Force Service Support Group (Forward), gives a local Iraqi child a treat at one of the train stations.  The Reston, Va., native, occasionally attaches to 5th Squad, Military Police Detachment here to assist with the Brikwal Patrols. The squad travels Alternate Supply Route Tin looking for possible mines or improvised explosive devices prior to the convoy traveling the road.
