AL ASAD, Iraq (June 26, 2005) - Corporal Jacquelyn M. Gibson, a Miami native, and Marine with Air Delivery Platoon, Transportation Support Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 2, 2d Force Service Support Group (Forward), removes and collects straps and other air delivery gear from a supply bundle after an air delivery was made June 26. Air delivery is used to reduce the number of Marines and vehicles conducting convoy operations to deliver supplies to the various Forward Operating Bases throughout the CLB-2 area of operations.
