A mold of a Marines mouth lies in wait for dentists to use in making an optical impression. The mold is one of the first steps in creating a ceramic restoration or a crown. Second Dental Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, has used the updated Computer Assisted Design, Computer Assisted Milling technology for the past year to create crowns and ceramic restorations faster than in previous years.
