CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - Dr. James Averhart Jr., the national president of the Montford Point Marine Association, speaks during a ceremony unveiling a new logo for 2nd Supply Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, at Camp Lejeune, N.C., May 6, 2014. Averhart spoke about the unique connection between 2nd Supply Battalion and the Montford Point Marines, who fought segregation while performing vital logistics missions during the Pacific Campaign in World War II.
