A Marine with 2nd Maintenance Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, fires an M2 .50-caliber machine gun at unknown distance targets during a live-fire training exercise on SR8 Multi-purpose Machine Gun Range aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 26, 2014. Marines conducted annual machine-gun training to maintain proficiency and build confidence with the weapons systems. Marines and sailors with the battalion conducted a field exercise Sept. 18-Oct. 1, 2014, to reinforce their ability to accomplish battalion-level, mission essential tasks.
